A FileMaker system health check provides a broader assessment than troubleshooting a single reported problem. It is intended to identify technical risks, performance concerns, outdated components, and maintenance needs across the solution and its supporting environment.

A FileMaker system health check evaluates the condition of the solution and its operating environment. The scope may include FileMaker files, server configuration, backups, software versions, performance, security, integrations, and the way users currently work with the system.

We review FileMaker Server settings, schedules, logs, storage, available capacity, and relevant operating system conditions. Backup configuration is examined to determine whether backups are running as expected and whether the recovery process is adequately documented and tested. 

Depending on the scope, we may review schema, relationships, calculations, scripts, layouts, security settings, external data sources, and areas users identify as slow or difficult.
